Jungle Cruise (2021)
Jungle Cruise is another Disney ride that they have decided to turn into a movie and after the Pirates of the Caribbean proved to be a financial and at times critical success, its time to hop on board the Jungle Cruise which given how much publicity they have put behind seems to suggest that Disney see great things. The set up is that Emily Blunt plays Lily Houghton who is in search for something and takes her brother (played by Jack Whitehall) and they enlist the services of Dwayne Johnson but the Germans are also after this because apparently if you want to show baddies in 1916 then they have to be Germans because this hasn’t been done to death already. Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are great in this film. Individually they are strong and together there is the right amount of chemistry between them even with that faux not getting on together thing in the first half of the movie.
